ElderServe provides a wide-range of supportive services that empower older adults to live independently with dignity.
Who is eligible for ElderServe programs and services?
Generally, any Jefferson County, Kentucky resident 60+ is eligible for our services. Eligibility depends upon the program or service need and is determined at the time of inquiry to ElderServe. If a person is not eligible for ElderServe programs and services, every attempt is made to refer to other appropriate services in the community.
What do your programs cost?
All ElderServe social service programs and services are free to eligible residents. Our services are underwritten by state and local funding services and are provided at no cost. Our HomeCare, Adult Day, and Representative Payee programs, however, are fee based. During a first call or assessment, individuals, family members or referral sources will talk with an ElderServe staff member to help determine any additional service or program fees, based on family income or insurance including Medicaid and Medicare.
